I had somehow gotten a meeting with a recruiter from one of the companies I am targeting in my job search. We talked outside their office building. It was nice out. It was sunny and the grass was very green and alive. The recruiter told me my profile was weak. So, I started adding things from some of my other involvements. I talked about public speaking, not only Toastmasters, but Ignite and the Conscious Entrepreneur Summit. That led me to talking about my business, building the app, the workshops and events. Then, out of nowhere, the recruiter discovers that there is a hold on my resume. It is at this point that her voice lowers in volume and the area around us becomes louder. There are a lot of people walking around. I ask her if she knows which previous job this came from, but I get an answer from a company I do not recognize. It is here she discovers that someone had put into some kind of file on my that I should be "excommunicated from the field." I ask her two more times to name the company where this statement came from, but both times I get lower volume, hard to understand answers that I do not recognize. I woke up not knowing which place it came from.
